Thanks to its altitude, Zambia enjoys a more moderate tropical climate than countries further north. The dry season from May to October offers sunny and comfortable days perfect for spotting wildlife gathered near watering holes. Visiting during the wet summer between November and April will allow you to see the countryside explode in verdant greens under the seasonal rains. Just be prepared for the occasional heavy downpour.
